Volunteer Opportunities
Before
The Augusta Horse & Carriage Parade can march
down Broad Street, a lot of hard work must be coordinated, confirmed and
communicated!! Without
a doubt, the key ingredient to the continued success of the Parade is
our wonderful and dedicated team of VOLUNTEERS. This is your personal invitation
to be more than a Parade spectator - become a volunteer and enjoy the
fellowship and satisfaction of knowing that YOU made a difference.
To those who are thinking about becoming a Parade volunteer for the first
time, welcome!!! We appreciate your interest in joining our family.
We are a fun group and are very dedicated to community, family
entertainment, and the preservation and furtherance of equestrian sports;
with
particular emphasis on the history, traditions and variety of uses of
horse-drawn vehicles.
If you have not already done so, please take a moment to browse through our
website and see what we are all about. Also, please check out our various volunteer
positions, hopefully one or more will appeal to you.
